Dr. Kayla Klingensmith

Dentist

Leadership, industry involvement and mentorship, help her give younger dentists a voice and guidance. For the past eight years she has acted as an associate dentist at other practices in the area. Dr. Klingensmith has also served in a teaching role at a hospital for the past six years. Serving on the ADA New Dentist Committee, she feels it’s important to advocate for both her profession and the patients. She’s served on the board of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and will serve on the national board of the American Dental Association during the coming year.

At age 16, Dr. Klingensmith shadowed with her aunt and uncle, who are dentists, and knew this was going to be her life’s path. She appreciates the art and science of the practice, as well as likes working with her hands. This New York native says she loves putting down roots with her family in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

When not at work, you’ll find Dr. Klingensmith spending time with her husband and their two adorable standard poodles—Oliver and Luca. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and on rainy days working on her next craft project.

While earning her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh, she also earned a master’s degree in public health, which uniquely informs her patient-centric approach to the practice.

Our Office

Located within a new building, the office features a soothing color palette that purposefully emulates and earthy forest, with shades of green, brown and beige. You’ll find lots of live plants, too, in an effort to bring the outdoors in.

Everything from the practice—from the gourmet coffee station and cozy lounge, to a comfort menu of stress balls, spa pillows, weighted blankets and televisions in the ceilings for easy viewing—is designed to feel homey and welcoming. Five dental suites include state-of-art medical equipment technology.
